Random

I had a pretty good day today. I just now got home from one of my Colonial re-enacting events. Not all of my friends were able to make it, but it was good enough having the three that did. It was kind of hot and boring at first because all of the servants, including me, had to spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen. But later, the weather cooled down, it wasn’t too hot or too cold, and there weren’t so many visitors, so we were able to talk and run around a lot more freely (maybe not literally “run around”, but I mean more like we could just do what we wanted and have fun). Unfortunately, my good friend Emily wasn’t able to make it, but I had fun spending time with her younger sister. I had a lot of fun hanging out with Paulius and with my sister, Spence. Spence told him stories of the times I tried beating her up (or making her angry) when I was little, and I was almost slightly embarrassed, but I realized that most people should know that I don’t beat people up in order to make them think more highly of me. :-D Lol. So yes, as you can see, some interesting and funny conversations took place between the three of us, but I’m not going to bother typing them all out ;-)
So, below are some random facts about me…enjoy and post any of your random facts in a comment :-)
Music
• At my second Newsboys concert, Peter Furler held his hand out, giving me (and a few other wild fans) the signal to stop our screaming (he was busy reading out from the bible, I think). Slightly embarrassing. Haha.
• I’ve gotten autographs from Charmaine, Carried Away, and ZOEgirl. Infact, they’re the only celebs I’ve met. Charmaine signed my hand (it was kind of at the last minute, because I didn’t have anything to sign), so it washed off after a week :-D
When I was younger
• I was about four or five years old, and we were having dinner. My dad told me he’d make me a small rootbeer float if I “cleaned my plate.” Well, I took it literally, so I went to the trashcan, poured everything off of my plate, then put the plate in the sink. Haha. Since my dad wasn’t looking when I did that, there was no problem. Hey, I didn’t mind having to “clean my plate”, because I didn’t even like what was on it!
• I was about three years old, and I was on my grandmother’s treadmill. I started messing around with all the buttons (not knowing what did what), and in doing so, I accidentally turned the treadmill up to the highest speed, and for some reason, I didn’t let go of the handles. I’ll let you use your imagination for what happened. To finish the story, I had scars for a few years after that, and I haven’t gone on a treadmill since then. ;-D
Misc.
• I can’t stand mayo, sour cream, or most white-colored creams that people put on food.
• It drives me crazy when people check the mail on Sundays.

Sour cream is awesome! YUMMY! I can’t believe you don’t like it.

  2. Brandi says:

Ouch, the threadmill story sounded painful. No wonder you haven’t been on one in a while.

  3. Spence says:

So you don’t like alfredo sauce, either??

  4. Jordan says:

Actually, it’s only the more sour-tasting things I don’t like (mayo, horse radish, etc.). I can’t see myself disliking alfredo sauce!
